How's your weekend? Here it's stay off all caffeine and junk food (as much as possible). Too much of these means too much acidic content in your system. Which means horrible symptoms.
What else? Flashbacks still happen. When many do, it's hard to know what's real and what's not. Holding onto solid things and other "standard" grounding techniques many times don't work.
What do you do then?
Turn things off when you need to. Go for a walk. Take a cold shower (but not too long).
The other thing? Set and stick to boundaries. If necessary, hang up or walk away. Don't get into a long explanation of the ramifications of severe PTSD. You DON'T have to do that.
At times we hold onto each other and fight back against everybody that wants to beat us down into the ground. Or, we fight to not black out when lucid dreams happen. Is this homeless guy at this light going to kill us? We have to literally fight our way out of that. If we don't, it's hard to know what's real and what's not.
The stuck fight-or-flight mechanism is still there. Even if we stay off caffeine we still have bad days with it. Bt what else can you do?
