Try to Focus
The TV is on, but the sound is turned down. That's the only way I can handle it without being triggered. On bad days, there's no noise. I don't want to be bombarded with pain. I just want to feel safe in my own home.
TV? No way. Radio commercials, hell no. Too much input. Before it happened I drove the speed limit, now I drive fast and weave in and out of traffic to get home as fast as I can... to be safe. The way an animal feels protected in a den. Make sense?
